WHO IS MOJO INITIATIVE?
By combining youth leadership workshops, conflict resolution programs and community service opportunities with highly competitive athletic programs, the student athlete not only learns to excel at their chosen sport, but is poised to succeed and excel in all parts of their lives, now and as they grow into adults.
BUILDING FUTURES
While our MOJO athletic teams are supported by per-player fee, the MOJO Initiative Programs are funded through private donations. It is with the generous support of businesses and individuals in our communities that we are able to help build future leaders by working with young athletes to help each one find their MOJO.
MOJO Initiative is looking for a home of it’s own. In addition to raising funds to support our team and individual leadership and community programs, we are also working towards establishing an athletic and community center facility of our own! A place where teams engaged in our leadership, conflict resolution and other programs can have a conditioning session or a practice and also attend their workshops or participate in team building activities. A place where player mentors and mentees can spend time learning from one another and engaging in meaningful mentoring activities. A place where MOJO can mobilize its community volunteers and engage others in the community to get involved!
Please help us reach our goals! Every little bit counts. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. Ask your tax advisor how helping MOJO can help you!
MOJO Initiative is looking to partner with business and property owners in Oakland and Eastern Livingston County areas to bring our goal to establish an athletic community center a reality. If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact us below. Please consider giving some of your MOJO to help our kids find theirs!
